Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 28, 2026
Overview and controller
Property-Autopilot is a property-intelligence and home-maintenance planning service operated by RDP-Ventures ("RDP-Ventures," "Property-Autopilot," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains the categories and sources of information we collect, how and why we use and share that information, international data transfers, and the privacy choices and rights that may be available to you.
For privacy-law purposes, RDP-Ventures is the controller of personal information collected through Property-Autopilot except where another party acts as an independent controller under its own terms.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, account identifiers, sign-in method, security settings, multi-factor-authentication status, and information you provide when contacting us.
- Property information: property address and location details, property characteristics, systems and appliances, maintenance history, service dates, notes, and other property records you choose to provide.
- Service and device information: technical logs, browser/device information, security events, and service-usage information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- Waitlist information: if you join the public website waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and a source label identifying the waitlist form, and we may send a confirmation or product-update email.
- Interactive demo information: when the public demo tracker is enabled, we may record a short-lived demo session identifier, whether the demo was started or completed, the answers you submit in the demo, the resulting score, and coarse location fields such as country or postal code when those fields are provided.
- Payment and subscription information: if you purchase a paid plan, we may receive subscription status, transaction identifiers, billing status, plan information, and limited payment-related metadata from our payment provider. Full payment-card details are generally processed by the payment provider rather than stored by Property-Autopilot.
Sources of information
We collect information directly from you when you create or use an account, enter property information, join the waitlist, use the public demo, purchase a paid plan, or contact us. We also receive limited information automatically from your browser or device when you use the service.
If you choose Sign in with Google, we receive the basic identity information described below from Google. If you purchase a paid plan, we may receive billing and subscription metadata from the payment provider. We may also receive security, delivery, or service-status information from providers that help us operate Property-Autopilot.
Sign in with Google
If you choose Sign in with Google, Property-Autopilot receives basic identity information made available through Google authentication, such as your name, email address, and profile image. We use this information only to authenticate you, create or match your Property-Autopilot account, support account security, and provide the service.
Property-Autopilot does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or other Google services as part of authentication-only Google sign-in. Property-Autopilot does not use Google account data for advertising and does not sell Google account data.
Property-Autopilot does not use Google OAuth provider tokens to access unrelated Google APIs. If future features require additional Google permissions, we will request only the permissions needed for that feature and update this Privacy Policy before using them.
Browser storage and similar technologies
Property-Autopilot may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies to maintain authentication and security state, remember limited application state, measure service usage, and assign a temporary identifier to a public demo session. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential analytics or similar technologies, we will request that consent before using those technologies.
Purposes and legal bases
We use personal information to provide and secure Property-Autopilot, administer accounts and subscriptions, generate property-maintenance plans and related property intelligence, operate and improve the website and application, administer the waitlist, communicate with you, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
Where the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law requires a legal basis, we generally rely on one or more of the following, depending on the processing activity:
- Contract: processing necessary to provide the service or take steps you request before entering a contract.
- Legitimate interests: operating, securing, troubleshooting, improving, and protecting Property-Autopilot, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
- Consent: where you have given consent, including for optional marketing or non-essential analytics where required.
- Legal obligation: processing necessary to comply with applicable law, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or lawful governmental requirements.
You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal.
Information you need to provide
An email address and related authentication information are required to create and secure a Property-Autopilot account. Property information is generally optional, but some property details are necessary if you want the service to generate personalized maintenance planning or recommendations. Billing information may be required if you choose a paid plan. If you do not provide information that is required for a requested feature, we may be unable to provide that feature.
Automated recommendations and decision-making
Property-Autopilot may use rules, software, or automated processing to produce maintenance recommendations, priority levels, schedules, scores, reminders, and similar planning outputs. Optional AI-assisted features may process the limited account or property information needed to return the result you request through service providers that help us operate Property-Autopilot. These outputs are informational, qualitative planning aids and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Property-Autopilot does not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects about you.
How information may be shared
We may share information with service providers that help us host the website and application, provide authentication and database services, deliver email, process payments, support security, analyze service performance, and otherwise operate Property-Autopilot. These providers may process information on our behalf or, in limited cases, as independent controllers under their own applicable terms.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, at your direction, in connection with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards, or as otherwise described when information is collected.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We do not use or share Google account data for targeted advertising.
International data transfers
RDP-Ventures is based in the United States, and Property-Autopilot and its service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism for personal information transferred internationally, we will use a legally recognized mechanism or safeguard appropriate to the transfer, which may include an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, or another permitted mechanism. You may contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your personal information.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, administer subscriptions and requested communications, maintain required business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the data type, purpose, account status, legal requirements, and whether deletion is technically and legally appropriate.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport, authentication controls, multi-factor authentication where enrolled, and database access controls. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether the relevant law applies to RDP-Ventures, you may have rights concerning your personal information. These may include rights to access, know about, correct, delete or erase, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, and appeal or complain about certain privacy decisions.
EEA and UK. Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your country or region.
Your right to object. Where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis for processing, you may have the right to object to that processing. Where applicable law gives you an absolute right to object to direct marketing, we will honor that right.
California and other U.S. states. Where applicable state privacy law applies, you may have rights to know or access categories and specific pieces of personal information, request deletion or correction, opt out of certain sales or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.
Other jurisdictions. Other countries and regions may provide similar or additional rights. We will evaluate eligible requests under the law that applies to the request.
To exercise a privacy right, contact privacy@property-autopilot.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits.
You may unsubscribe from optional marketing messages using the method provided in those messages. You may also stop using Google sign-in or revoke Property-Autopilot's Google account access through your Google Account settings.
Children's privacy
Property-Autopilot is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where applicable law would require parental authorization that has not been obtained. The service is intended for adults who are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
